We are very excited to be accepting applications for the 2020-2021 Power of 10 program. We are hopeful to administer the program this year but due to COVID-19, the schedule will remain TBD and be modified as time goes on. While virtual meetings are an option, we feel strongly that a major benefit of the program is the face-to-face meetings and opportunities. We worry that offering the meetings on a virtual platform may not be as beneficial or rewarding to the participants so we will have to adjust the schedule and potentially postpone our meetings. We appreciate your flexibility during these unusual circumstances. Feel free to email Talya George at talya@vvma.org if you have any questions.

The Power of 10 Leadership program is designed to be completely customized based upon the participants' preferences.

Examples of program curriculum may include:

  • Financial Management
  • Leadership Skill Development (personally & professionally)
  • Client & Co-worker Communication
  • Practice Ownership
  • Managing Compassion Fatigue

In addition, each participant will be invited to participate in VVMA continuing education and legislative events and will "graduate" the program with a better understanding of what the VVMA does to protect the interests of veterinarians, as well as the patients and clients they serve.
